Rose In Jail (not Jalen though)

In the dog-and-pony show that we need for the Spectacle, Charlie Hustle finally admits to gambling on baseball:

Rose has been cheered when he's appeared in front of fans in recent years, and says he thinks he has the fans behind him. "I think the powers that be in baseball understand that hey, maybe the fans like this guy. Maybe the fans want, want us to give him a second chance."

The tribal virtue is the capitalist vice (McLuhan).

Also ironic that the title of Rose's recently-published autobiography is "My Prison Without Bars". Isn't that true for all pro athletes?
